Day Two -
Over the next three days you will complete 9 Water Tic-Tac-Toe Stations (Three a day). I would love to have you try these stations at home if the materials are available to you... I know you may not be able to acquire these materials, so please view my demonstration videos for observations.

You will need:
1. Water Properties Tic-Tac-Toe Sheet (Attachment)
2. Clipper Ship/Water Elevator/Waxy Water Recording Sheet (Attachment)

You will record predictions/hypotheses/explanations on the recording sheets before and after the videos, then use our water properties to explain why the water reacted that way. Last record/illustrate what happened during the station on the tic-tac-toe sheet.

Level 4 - Responsible Environmental Action

Select ONE of the following activities to complete:

1.     Go on a walk around your neighborhood, collect trash and/or yard waste that is blocking street drains. This will prevent pollution in our watershed. It will also prevent flooding on your street if drains are clear and water is free to flow!! Take a picture and email to me show how clean your street drains can be!!

2.     Create a game your kindergarten buddy could play and understand to learn something about Watersheds or Water Properties or The Nitrogen Cycle or The Water Cycle.

3.     Create a Water Cycle or Nitrogen Cycle rap and/or dance to teach younger students the steps and processes of either. Record and send me your video!!
