Acids and Bases
Students will briefly explore the pH scale of acids and bases. We will look at solutions and solubility. Students will explore the pH of various solutions using litmus paper making predictions and testing and matching up the color of the paper to the correct pH number.
Rollercoasters
Students will revisit the world of physics by creating a ball bearing rollercoaster. Their goal will be to create a three loop, 4 elevation, safe stopping themed coaster.
Anatomy of the Eye
Students will briefly study the anatomy of the eye with regard to light. Students will then dissect beef and sheep eyes to better understand the anatomy of the eye.
