6th Week 5 April 22nd - April 28th

Hello 6th Graders!!,

Please print the new science attachment for week 5.

This week we will continue to work on Investigation 3-Cells!

Day 1-Wednesday, April 22nd:
1. Watch my following YouTube video to complete our Human Cell observation. (page 2)

2. Use the word bank below to complete page 3-Animal Cell Structures.

• Lysosome 
• Ribosome
• Endoplasmic Reticulum
• Nucleus
• Cell Membrane
• Vacuole
• Cytoplasm
• Mitochondrion

3. Go back to the beginning of the first Investigation 3-Cells packet, page 2, Evidence of Life Check list. Fill in a new row using the Animal/Cheek Cell.
  

Day 2-Thursday, April 23rd:
1.  Read the article "Cells" found on pages 5-10 in your packet.

2. Complete page 4, "Cells" article reflection sheet.


Day 3-Friday, April 24th:
1. Use page 11-Color Coding the Animal and Plant cell. Follow the color coding directions to color in the plant cell found on page 12.


Day 4-Monday, April 27th:
1. Use page 11-Color Coding the Animal and Plant cell. Follow the color coding directions to color in the animal cell found on page 13.


Day 5-Tuesday, April 28th:
1. Complete the Study Guide for Investigation 2 and 3. This will be a review of "The Microscope", and "Cells".  (We will review the study guide during the Wednesday Zoom meeting.)
