7th Week 8 (May 11th - May 15th)

Hello 7th Graders,
This week we will continue to study the Moon.

Please print off the Investigation 5 Packet from Google Classroom.

Day 1: Monday May 11th - 
1) Answer the part 1 question, What Moon Phases can be observed? Shade in the circles and label the phases below. (We will answer the LOL during the Zoom.)
2) Watch the following video to help you understand why we have moon phases, lunar eclipses and solar eclipses.

3)Read the article under Week 8-Day 1 Earth's Moon
4) Join me for our Monday Zoom (7A 3:30 / 7B 4:30). Please bring your Moon Log, Invest. 4 and Invest. 5 packet to the meeting!!

   
Day 2: Tuesday May 12th -
1) Complete page 3-Looking at the Moon, by watching my following YouTube video:

2) Complete the Moon Puzzle, page 4 by cutting out the 9 puzzle pieces found on page 5 and laying them in the correct Moon Phase placement.

3) Use the key below to correct your Moon Puzzle then glue down your puzzle pieces:


  









Day 3: Wednesday May 13th -
1) Complete Page 6 and 7 - Oreo Moon Phases. (Remember, if you don't have Oreo's just shade them in...)



Day 4: Thursday May 14th -
1) Check out Bill Nye - The Moon to help review what we have been learning about the Moon! Click between the ** to highlight the link!!

Day 5: Friday May 15th - 
Complete page 8 and 9 of the Investigation 5 packet, this is the first two pages of the study guide for Investigation 4 and 5.



Day 6: Monday May 18th -
1)Complete page 10 and 11 of the Investigation 5 packet, these are the last two pages of the study guide for Investigation 4 and 5.

2) We will correct the entire Study Guide at our Zoom meeting this afternoon.
